SKYBOX AI

Designing the Horizon

At Skybox AI, I led the product design efforts to create a cutting-edge platform that allows users to generate 360-degree images from text prompts. Users could choose from over 30 visual styles and seamlessly remix images while preserving structural integrity. My work spanned prototyping, design systems, user flows, and the marketing website, helping the platform grow to over 250,000 users in just two years. I collaborated closely with product owners, ML engineers, and developers to deliver a user-friendly experience for image creation, management, and sharing.

Designing for Creative Flow

I led the design of an interactive UI that prioritized the skybox experience itself. By minimizing visual clutter and carefully organizing tools, we gave users the space to create while still feeling in control. Every design decision was weighed against the need to stay out of the way while empowering creative expression.

Simplicity Behind the Scenes

As the feature set expanded, so did the need for thoughtful user management tools. I designed a dashboard and asset history system that made it easy for users to revisit and remix past generations. It had to be as frictionless as the generation flow itself—quick to search, clean to navigate, and built for scaling.

Impact and Growth

Skybox AI quickly found its audience. In just two years, the app grew to over 250,000 users who generated more than 18 million skyboxes. It became a go-to tool for artists, game developers, and creators building virtual worlds—proving that a well-designed interface can make even complex AI tools feel creatively accessible.
